PTC CREO InstallationPTC Creo (previously ProENGINEER) is a 3D solid modeling tool which is a competitor to DSS Solidworks and AutoDesk Inventor. It has a major advantage of being much much smaller, so it runs on older hardware. You can also install MathCad at the same time. \\dfs.ru.is\forrit\Allir\PTC\Creo\current Pick 32 or 64 bit Open "setup.exe" Pick "Install new software" then Next Check "I accept the software license agreement" and "By checking this box ..." then Next On the bottom "License Summary" put "7788@lic-creo.hir.is". This should cause "Available" to show up under Status. If not, you have a problem getting a license from the license server at RU. An example picture can be found in \\dfs.ru.is\forrit\Allir\PTC\Creo\creo-network-license.png At the Next window, you may want to isntall "PTC Mathcad" at the same time. It is optional. You should be able to just pick Next until it installs.
